The game features a ranking system, in which depending on how well the player completed the stage, they will be awarded a rank, with D being the worst rank and S being the best rank. In the story mode, depending on what conditions are met, Zetton will either be destroyed by the Science Patrol or confronted by Zoffy. This is the first game of the Ultraman Fighting Evolution series to feature Ultramen and Ultra Monsters from the Heisei era with the addition of Ultraman 80.
